B-PEN’s Parent Advisory Committee (a volunteer parent group) meets monthly to brainstorm ideas and provide insight into ways of reaching Brookline parents with helpful information on issues ranging from setting limits and healthy relationships to cyber-bullying and alcohol experimentation. The committee targets specific community needs and possible strategies for helping parents understand and cope with the risky behaviors of adolescent development.
