February Vacation Art Classes mean winter fun

Kids 6 to 9 get to draw, paint, make 3-D sculpture and crafts while learning more about the Arctic world and wildlife. Arctic Artventures at the Brookline Arts Center is fun, friendly and an encouraging, creative environment.
For those who are 9 - 12, Pottery and Wheelthrowing is a great chance to make beautiful and useful pottery, for those who love to build with their hands and create colorful sculptures that create a unique and beautiful world. Plus, you can make bowls, mugs, even platters.
For those 10 and up, mixed media class provides studio time and the guidance of a teacher to learn new secrets in drawing and painting.
Finaly , for those who are 12 and older, the Metals Sampler provides an intensive introduction to creating in meals, including silver. Learn the techniques and design of jewelry while making earrings, bracelets, boxes, brooches, and more. Popular among both boys and girls.
