On March 4 at 7 p.m. in Brookline High School’s Roberts/Dubbs Auditorium, the Brookline Public Health Department co-sponsors a special evening of information, insight and discussion for parents and teens that examines “The Teen Brain and Today’s Chemical Culture.” The evening features a line-up of expert presenters, including McLean Hospital brain expert Dr. Marisa Silveri and Former First Lady of Massachusetts Kitty Dukakis, and is expected to offer valuable insight into the intricacies and landmarks of adolescent brain development in the context of today’s “a pill or drink will make it better” culture. For more information, contact June Harris (june_harris@brookline.k12.ma.us).
Event co-sponsors: The Brookline Coalition Against Substance Abuse (B-CASA), the Jeremy S. Kritzman Initiative on Drugs and Alcohol, B-PEN (Brookline Parent Education Network), Brookline High School PTO and the Brookline Public Health Department.
