                                Time to Act Out in Brookline!

                   Local Young People’s Theater Enrolling for Fall Season!

Take all that summer energy and channel it on stage! The Freelance Players, Inc., a musical theater company for young people founded in 1974, is now enrolling for its fall season, beginning the week of September 14th.

Everyone is encouraged to join!

 The Freelance Players is for older students, ages 12-16 and meets in Brookline on Wednesdays at DriscollSchool.The Freelance Troupe is for children ages 8-12 with little or no experience and meets on Fridays at Driscoll school. Each company mounts an original musical during the season. Physical and vocal techniques, drama improvisation, dance, auditioning, and singing are part of the rehearsal process. Theater professionals staff the companies.  The programs are tuition based. 

Story Theater classes are for children ages 6-8 and are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays (ParkSchool) and Thursdays at Heath school.

 There are also Freelance Troupes in Dover (Mondays), Jamaica Plain (Tuesdays), Cambridge (Wednesdays) and Needham (Fridays).
