Brookline Arts Center watercolor teacher Wendy Soneson is exhibiting 26 paintings at the Brookline Town Hall in an exhibition entitled "Flower Alphabet." This lush collection of flowers and painting technique  is on view on the First Floor of the Town Hall at 333 Washington Street.

The senior artists of the arts center's ARTreach painting classes at the Brookline Housing Authority also have mounted a group exhibition of their current work, in the selectmen's chambers on the 6th Floor of the Town Hall. Boith exhibitions are on view from September through mid-November 2009.

A public reception to meet the artists will be held on Wednesday, September 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. The public is invited at attend. For more information, call 617-566-5715.
