Brookline painter Robert Baart is exhibiting a series of Landscape paintings at the Brookline Arts Center from September 21 to November 10, 2009 in the gallery of the Brookline Arts Center. There will be a public reception to meet the artist and see the show on Friday, October 2, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Baart retired from teaching painting techniques at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in 2009, after 31 years. He has been honored many times as an artist and a teacher, and his art has been exhbited widely in galleries and art museums. Baart is enthused about bringing this exhibition to Brookline, where he has lived for more than two decades.
