Attractions: Exhibition of New Art coming to the Brookline Arts Center
Come meet the artists who will be exhibiting their work at the Brookline Arts Center during 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. See examples of their work at the Brookline Public Library's Hunneman Hall, in "Attractions" New art coming to the Brookline Arts Center.
The closing reception is Thursday, Sept. 30 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. and is free and open to the public at Hunneman Hall, Main Branch of the Brookline Public Library.
Art Gathering
Art and music collide for a free event promoting community and the arts in Brookline. Film, photography, poetry, vocal performances and more by local artists will be accompanied by light hors d'oeuvres and good company. Sponsored by City on a Hill Church.
Photography Discussion Salon with Deanna Christo
Despite the winter’s cold, the Brookline Arts Center’s second floor photography gallery is filled with the light and color of spring, because of Deanna Christo’s exhibition Color Photography…Mostly Flowers. The exhibition presents new work by a Brookline photographer who came to the medium after she retired from a 34-year teaching career.

Brookline photographer Istvan Akos Morocz will lead a discussion on photography techniques and ideas during a free photo salon on Friday, October 23 from 6:30 – 8:30pm at the Brookline Arts Center.
Photography and the Internet: Photography's Future without film or prints
On Sunday, June 28, 2009, at 7:00 p.m., Pat Goeters, Robin Chan and David Gordon will present a program of photo essays at the Brookline Arts Center, exploring the new forms of photojournalism in a world shaped by the Internet and digital photography.
Photography and the Internet, an “Art for Everyone” event, is free and open to the public.
